Dr. Jan Solomon

Bio

Jan L. Solomon, PhD, received her undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston and her Master’s and Doctorate Degrees from FIU in International Relations. She recently served in the Office of the Vice Provost at FIU as the Development Officer and Program Coordinator for cultural and ambassador programs, including liaison to the Vice Provost’s Council as well as the former Scholarship Committee Co-Chair. Her past professions include, professional opera singer at Florida Grand Opera and a member of the Florida Philharmonic Chorus. Dr. Solomon currently serves as the President of Solomon International Solutions, Inc., a global consulting and coaching firm focusing on Executive Leadership. She is most proud of her service to The Global Hunger Project as an activist and investor, working to end world hunger since 1977.
