Give

The Office of the Vice Provost is honored to work with our donors to help students at the Biscayne Bay Campus reach for their educational dreams.

Support from our donors facilitates academic excellence, student-centered learning and the interdisciplinary synergy needed to ensure that FIU remains globally competitive. Your investments allow our students to excel, dream, engage and transform their lives through the power of philanthropy.

Areas of Giving

  • Aventura Marketing Council Fellowship

The Aventura Marketing Council (AMC) Fellowship program makes awards on a renewable basis to outstanding undergraduate students attending FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus, including international students. Applicants must demonstrate involvement in student life and community service.

  • BBC Excellence Fund

The BBC Excellence Fund enhances academic programs, increases scholarship opportunities, encourages innovative research, brings engaging speakers to campus, improves campus infrastructure and upgrades technology, preserves our unique coastal environment, and implements essential programs for campus development.

  • Golden Gift First Generation Scholarship

The Golden Gift First Generation Scholars Program is designed to help FIU juniors and seniors at the Biscayne Bay Campus, who are the first generation in their families to pursue a college degree, succeed on their educational journey.

Each student receives a $2,500 scholarship from a donor, which is matched by the state for a total of $5,000. Now in its 5th year, the program has raised $1.5 million to help students pursue their dream of a college education.

    Every donor makes a difference.

  • Business Partnership Program Scholarships

Through the Vice Provost's Council's newest initiative, the Business Partnership Program actively seeks to develop innovative and customized university-corporate partnerships to advance shared goals through meaningful experiences and investments.

Our business and corporate partners have access to the numerous resources of Miami’s public research institution: a diverse student and alumni population for talent recruitment strategies, a strong research and service capacity in nearly 200 degree programs, renowned faculty expertise, and a myriad of marketing and community relations opportunities.

The Golden Gift scholarship means to me that someone sees me, believes in me and the future of our society. Without this scholarship, I would not have been able to graduate with my bachelor's and would not be able to now pursue my master's degree. When you give, you give a family a sign of hope to keep moving forward.
