Andrea A. Ramos

Bio

Andrea Aguirre Ramos is a Miami-based professional with over two decades of experience in higher education administration and community engagement, currently serving as the Director of Community Relations at Florida International University (FIU) Biscayne Bay Campus in the Office of the Vice Provost.   In this role, Andrea coordinates membership and activities for the Vice Provost’s Council, overseeing community engagement initiatives, campus outreach, and partnership development. She has been instrumental in strengthening FIU's ties with local communities, alumni, and potential partners, while also developing the Community Relations team for the campus.

Her dedication to fostering community ties, planning large-scale events, and enhancing FIU’s visibility through social media collaborations reflects her commitment to FIU’s mission of community outreach and student engagement.

Fluent in Spanish, she brings a unique blend of creativity, reliability, and leadership to her work at FIU.
