The Office of the Vice Provost oversees the implementation and execution of the university strategic plan at the campus. The office manages the operations and academic success of the campus and coordinates the various academic and administrative units on campus to enhance the experience of visitors, encourage community engagement, and increase student enrollment at BBC.
The Office the Vice Provost led day-to-day by the Assistant Vice President, is staffed by a dedicated team comprised of a community relations director, operations director and an executive assistant. All are available to support the campus and surrounding community.
The team's priorities are shaped by FIU's Mission:
Florida International University is an urban, multi-campus, public research university serving its students and the diverse population of South Florida. We are committed to high-quality teaching, state-of-the-art research and creative activity, and collaborative engagement with our local and global communities.
